Hi, the app does nothing when I run the unzipped file… for some reason the new settings does not save when I edit the advance settings.. I am running on MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6… my question is, do I have to install the Wineskin separately before running this app? Thanks very much for the help!

I did every step from the video but the cncnet shown error KABOOOOM! CnCNet Client has crashed. Error Message: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
The download link for wineskin doesn't work, I have downloaded the wineskin separately, but when I launch it, it doesn't have engine pre-installed. Any suggestion? I am using Mojave as well.

It’s says it’s not supported by Mac OS, I have high Sierra

made it all the way to the CNC net install and I get the error "KABOOOOM! CnCNet Client has crashed. Error Message: Index was outside the bounds of the array. " how can I fix this?
I have stuck when I try to install the NET Framework 3.5. An error shows "You must use"Turn Windows features on or off" in the Control Panel to install or configure Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. Anyone has the same problem or the way to solve this?

i was hoping to find an easier solution to play the game. Ill just stick to generals on mac. Im too old to be doing all this on my computer I did wine a while ago some reason it finally crashed and I didn't want to do it over again and I did not do all what you did, it was actually easier than this. Although you are right about changing the resolution

Thank you, bro! For those who face this issue! Let me share with you how to get by step by step! I use wineskin, I created a wrapper via Wineskin Winery. I opted for the choice of WS9 2.22 Engine and my Wineskin Wrapper Version 2.6.2 (IMPORTANT) because it's newer and it can install the later Winetricks.
For your information. He created a WRAPPER called Red Alert 2, to access wrapper, right-click and show package content. He runs wineskin.
Step 2: After running Wineskin,(DEALING WITH SCREEN AND COMPATIBILITY) Go to WINECFG, change your windows to Windows XP because I find out 7,8,10, I find it hard to install CNCnet or the black screen keep appearing. Also, don't forget to mark the screen resolution as this dude show!
Step 3: Install Winetricks -videoplayblack2048, msxml 4.0, dotnet40,xna40, wininet
dotnet35sp1, directx9(basically I install all direct x9) this is optional,
safer choice. follow his install, he installs through those files.
after you follow the steps here, you follow his steps. Basically, he created 4 extra executable files which are RA2, RA2MD, CNCNET, SCREEN. Follow his steps. If you still have issue, comment below my comment. How do you know? Right-click your Red Alert 2 wrapper, show package content. You have these four and few folders. You are on the right path.

My Yuri's Revenge application just has a black screen when I open it. Any idea why? I can hear the music and the cursor appears, but the screen is black. Red Alert 2 works perfectly.

Hi, Anyone has the KABOOOM error message appear when they try to open the Cncnet Client? Everything works out fine and i thank YOU for that but could you reply or do a video about how to get past this error? I have seen other people get the same problem, and it seems they don't know how to fix it either. Thank you

The game lags really bad for me, not even playable. Thank you for the instructions though.
EDIT: Within the screen resolution tool exists a fix lag button. It got rid of around 90% of the lag :)
Unfortunately my CnC online Multiplayer cruses in the exe installation at the end. It says CnCNET Client has crushed intext was outside of the bounds of the array

I followed the instructions and it works.. but it seems to be lagging quite a bit. You mentioned that it is lagging because of a screen recording. My system seems to be lagging far worse than that and I'm not recording anything. Do you have any ideas?

Thanks a lot! It works perfect, almost… RA2 randomly freezes sometimes, but only the screen as I when I issue orders I can hear the units responding. It happens very often in some missions but not in others. Any idea?

Thank you so much for the help! My question is that when the game is open I cannot close it without exiting the game, Any suggestions? If I have multiple screens I cannot toggle between them or just close the app. I have to physically go to the exit game on the main screen page.
